A Commentary on being a "Nice Guy"



First off for those males who use this as an excuse for their bad record with garner females -- STOP THE NONSENSE.

I know cause I have been there:

Me: My love life sucks
Random friend: What happened now Rich?
Me: The usual. She made me her friend. (or in another cases it would be: She said I’m so sweet but she does not want to go there right now)
RF: Well, Man don’t worry about it she doesn’t know what she is missing out on.

But the Real RF with balls would tell me: Man u gotta be more proactive and direct about ur interest or else u will be waiting around and be all “sweet” and then become only a friend.

My point really is there is nothing wrong with making a friend out of someone ur interested in. In fact I believe any possible relationship needs to be built on a friendship.

The problem therein lies in the aforementioned crutch of an excuse. Being "sweet" and "nice" to a woman does not mean u will get anywhere with her. And in your mind u may think u are being sincere but just like any other type of guy ueitheir are looking for some physical loving or u really dig the girl. Basically, u need to put in work.

I am also learning that having options -- minus the lies-- is healthy. Now, I just gotta learn not to cut off new people so easily if i lose interest or things don't end up the way i hoped they might end up.
