Superficial Goals for the new year
oh joy sooner or later i wil finish formating this my new Blog from Greymatter I will be a happy camper.
But on with superficial things...
To Date a muscian; not a singer (but that would be a plus), but one who can play something to serenade me at anytime -- like a guitar. Wait that's too cliche. Maybe a viola or a horn (trumpet). But a guitar will do. Ain't nothing like a cute girl carrying her guitar or bass in its case while hiking around the city. This would be nice... cause actors scare me -- at least ones who r soley that.
Umm... another thing would be ... wow i guess i am not superficial enough. A first medium format camera would be nice. But that aint that superficial. Maybe a camera like this

Subway performances and the 'Net
Who could think i could "squander" an hour at the Union Square train station on my way home from work -- listening to two acts perform. I mean there are some really talented people "underground"; but i tend to listen as i walk swiftly to my train platform. But in all honesty if it wasn't for the site of the cute singer-guitarist from NoCaYo (top picture) i might not have stopped.
But the stopping was worth it as NoCaYo and the other act they were performing with -- Joe Murphy -- managed to garner a good crowd during the later half of Rush hour, including a drunken old man as a groupie who really creeped me out. In the end, i took some shots, gave both acts my cards, and bought both of their homemade cds ($20 alltogether). So far Joe Murphy's band is really killing it on this cd.
Another randumb remark about me from KoDigital:
"you would make a trip for conversation and then get the punani by default, i've discovered you're not shallow." - after telling her it might be good to have someone in another state to check for "relations".
now on life as it was. Saw the Ring this weekend.... ehhh hung out with family and my cousin who came up from florida...time flies she's eigthteen now and i am getting old-er My parents... really can rub me the wrong way
and i did my first photo shoot Sunday in the freezing cold sunday. i blame Apani for that who couldn't do it on the warmer saturday. Anyhow, Coney Island in the dead of Winter is horrid, especially for shooting. But must thank my boy Dave:
who really intoduced me to Apani's music back in 1996 during our college days. I am crossing my fingers that soem good pictures came out of the first half of this shoot. Next weekend, we shoot in Hollis, Queens, where me and Apani are from.
