u gotta wonder sometimes if ur life is goign to end up somewhere unique if u aspire to it. or is it all Forrest Gump-like -- u stumble upon ur purposes.
this is like my fifth week with no gig or job and it is starting to bother me. my bank accounts are below $20. i have resigned myself to finding me an internship related to photography while i stay in limbo. So i will head out to ICP and meet with a fellow from the education department. The hours i log in will eventually give me access to their facilities and discount on their tuition.
In other news despite my writing off close to 4,000 dollars i may owe the government $300 or so. But my new accountant, who is Asian and carries Moi (means "me" in French) as her last name, has been a doll making usre i add in as much as i can. Next set of freelance checks (hopefully sooon), i will make sure to set aside money to send to the 'ment.
i did a photo shoot last week in DUMBO Brooklyn for an aspiring MC by the name of Von Pea, Despite the growing cold outside, i got a decent amonut of shots, which is peanuts compared to waht pros do. Plus i made the elmentary mistake of leaving the safty cover for my Mamiya back on and losing 12 shots.
I'm not depressed, sad or terribly annoyed, but something's go to give sooner or later.
