Breaking fast and suffering... and Triple Crown

photo of Andrew Dosunmu i took circa 2002

The day i decide to break my fast wasn't so bad except at night after class when my stomach and head began to hurt. i was forced to leave hanging with Colson and my classmates. At home my body couldn't make up it's mind whether it wanted ot puek or suffer. It chose the later and i laid in bed all night and some of friday morning in pain. my stomach was none to happy to have solid food entering its domain again.

and so i missed my intership for the third time in a row or is the second. but made it to my cousins and then to Triple Crown in Williamsburg for the opening of a gallery with photographers like Andrew Dosunmu , Richard Rose and others. It was packed with the donwtown creative crowd of course and i brought Canon digital rebel just to take some snapshots but was challenged by Marc Baptiste to introduce myself to peopel and then take their photos. with my puny built-in flash the asking was easy but getting a sharp picture was harder. But still in all i got some decent pics out of it. now i need to get a speedlight flash for my cameras.

yeah, man. you should introduce yourself to people and THEN take their picture. better for you and their sanity. those were wise words. since i'm writing, i might invite you give me your address so i can mail a copy of the film to you...or you can wait until i get my video blog up and running. if you choose the latter option, the red pill, if you may, i promise all kinds of interesting contextualization. whatdaysay, rich-o-chum-o-pal? ::khary
