and they had to take my clippers

the oddest thing out of the theft that took place at my apartment yesterday was finding my clippers i use to shave and line up my beard gone as well. i mean that is kind of nasty even if you sanitize it.

After winning a Canon A1 body on Ebay (using Kdef's Powerbook) to replace the one that was stolen, my mind was running around trying to figure out how i would proceed with replace my ibook and my 20d (and the lens that i had just bought and never used). Should i use the new credit card (haven't used one in maybe two years) that ironically arrived yesterday or find other means to get these essential items.

As you should realize by now my roommates and i got got. someone was brazen enough ot climb through one of our front windows (on the second floor at that) and grab up our ps2s and our games, and got lucky an saw my laptop, and camera which was not in its normal bag, on the floor

but why take my clippers, but leave my external hard drives, scanners, etc. we have assumed that it was a kid who did it and saw that out window was open, rang our a bell repeatedly then climbed through -- the main goal being video games and the dvd player.

Funny enough, i have been calm through out all this as well as my roommates. When i called my father up to tell him he had my same demeanor and offered to help out if needed it. i seemed that Kdef took all our anger and put it inside herself.

anyhow, police report has been filed, landlords will see about getting some money from insurance, and bars will be put up like many of the brownstones on my block (Bed Stuy what :/)
